The contract at the Leinster underground mine is for a minimum of 24 months and includes the provision of a full range of underground mining services.
CIMIC-owned Thiess has been awarded a AU$190 million contract for works at BHP’s (ASX:BHP,LSE:BLT,NYSE:BHP) Nickel West project in Western Australia.
The contract at the Leinster underground mine is for a minimum of 24 months and includes the provision of a full range of underground mining services and equipment to support the mine’s lateral development and associated ore production including load and haul, shotcreting, cable bolting and full fleet maintenance services.
CIMIC CEO, Michael Wright said:
